The Criminal Justice Innovation Lab at the UNC School of Government needed a comprehensive brand refresh to reflect its role as a trustworthy, forward-thinking leader in criminal justice research and reform. The new identity needed to communicate credibility, honesty, and innovation while conveying a sense of hope, progress, and guidance. Visual elements were to support the Lab’s mission of helping stakeholders discover new ideas, solutions, and resources in the justice system.
